We're not just jive talkin' Honey!
The Dance Shack Inc. is a little local company (just me, Kirsty) that centres around the belief that dance is a medium through which we can strengthen our community by meeting the physiological, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of Women as they journey through motherhood. Physical fitness is one important part of being whole and healthy, and modeling this to our children is a powerful teaching tool. When you enter the studio, you'll find that these classes create a warm atmosphere that recognizes and celebrates the significant changes Women undergo as they undertake and offer themselves up to their families.
Todays Mothers are under constant pressure to "be all things to all people" - which is, quite frankly, unrealistic. Our basic needs are often sacrificed as we struggle to meet overwhelming demands. With little eyes constantly upon me, I hope to teach my children to respect and care for themselves so that they may in turn continue to love and extend grace and care to the world that surrounds them! The best way I can do that is to live a lifestyle that speaks these very truths and I hope you'll join me there.
